College Library

St. Peters Engineering College Library plays a vital role in meeting the present and anticipated future needs of its scientific community by selecting, acquiring, disseminating appropriate scientific and technical information through different channels of communication. The college central library housed in a part of the block having a plinth area of early 650 Sq.m. with a total seating capacity of 150 persons. The Central library is stocked with 41058 books and also subscribed 119 National and 15 International Journals. The central library activates of all sections are computerized.

The Central Library which collectively supports the teaching, research and extension programmes of the Institute. All students, faculty members of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership. The Library, besides having a huge collection of books on Engineering, Science & Humanities offers library services through its various divisions. Library Initially setup in 2007.

Library serves as a resource center and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of document’s useful for faculty and students of the institute and provides an efficient dissemination of knowledge.

Library aims to be best among engineering college libraries in the country. Library intends to incorporate the latest technology and adopt user friendly approach towards students and faculty. Library intends to offer comprehensive services related to dissemination of knowledge.

Goal

To serve the academic needs of all students and faculty members. As a center for collection of books and Journals of all related subjects to develop a comprehensive collection of information required for teaching and reference purpose. To acquire, organize information resources to meet the present and future needs of its users. Developing a consortium of all engineering college libraries with resource sharing and networking.
